If you didn’t make it out to the DVS x The Uprising Creative SCUMF@CK! party at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach a little while back, we’ll recap the night: the Pabst flowed like water, bands brought the rock n’ roll, and the premiere of SCUMF@CK! had the crowd cringing, laughing, and living a day in the life of a motorcycle-riding, beer-guzzling, womanizing, superhero graphic designer.

A couple of months back our amazing hosting partner Media Temple came over to the Echo Park studio to do a little feature on us. Why, we’re not sure, but they were hyped, so we were hyped. It’s been a crazy few weeks for the Uprising! Two weeks ago, we got the cameras rolling, collaborating with our friends at DVS for the upcoming launch of our limited edition Uprising DVS shoe. Without giving away too much, the three-day shoot involved motorcycles, pro skaters, classic cars, ladies, and that’s just the beginning. We’re stoked to see the final cut! Stay tuned for details on the official screening event… Party time!

After all that fun, we were ready to get back to work, when our buddies at Media Temple asked us if they could film a day in the life at the Uprising! Well, why not? Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to book hair and makeup artists, so it was up to us to get camera ready. With our facial hair tamed (kind of), and our wardrobe ready to go (yeah… right…), we spent the day going about our business, the only difference was fitting in interviews between conference calls. We’re looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
