Horiyoshi III is being featured today over on NOWNESS.com, a site focusing on a daily showcase of fashion, art, culture and travel.

One of the things that really blew us away when we went to visit Horiyoshi III earlier this year – and we haven’t really been able to explain in words – was the speed at which Sensei tattoos and the fact that he does it completely freehand. This video gives a bit beter glimpse of that skill. You can hear how fast the machine is running and see Sensei almost paint on the outlines. It’s amazing and we are truly honored to be working with Horiyoshi III and to have been tattooed by him.
